Deer Valley Resort
Rated the #1 ski resort in North America by the readers of SKI magazine in 2001 and 2005, Deer Valley Resort has become known for revolutionizing ski area service. Since opening in 1981, we have been committed to providing a level of care rearly found at a ski resort by delivering classic, consistent and quality service both on and off the mountain.
Deer Valley invested $7 million in improvements for the 2006/2007 ski season including the following:
- Deer Valley replaced the existing Sterling triple chairlift on Bald Mountain with a high-speed detachable quad
- Snow Park Lodge at the Resort base was expanded to include new restrooms on the slope-side of the building and upgrades were made to the employee cafeteria.
- New glade skiing created off of the Sultan chairlift.
- Four snowcats and one winchcat were replaced with new equipment and 50 new Ski-Doo snowmobiles were purchased for Deer Valley's Summit Meadows Adventures tours.
